After spending nearly a quarter of a century heading up sales and marketing at a Jamaican pattie company, Marco Minuto founded Red Castle Bakeries in 1996. The company is currently housed in a 43,000 square foot facility in Bayshore New York. Red Castle manufactures a full line of frozen pre-baked and baked Jamaican patties ( beef and chicken). Marco Minuto was one the winners of Crains New York Business magazine's entrepeneur of the year award which recognizes New York's top businesses.

Our 5 ounce golden flaky crust turnover is ideal for lunch, an afternoon snack or dinner.  The pattie is a hand held finger food item that is gaining popularity and momentum because of its versatility.  It serves as a self contained meal or snack and can be embellished by opening the crust and adding toppings such as cheese.  Patties are being sold in national supermarkets and club stores.
